History of Kerse
History of Dundas

The Abbotsgrange Parish Church has been formed by a union of two long established Grangemouth churches, namely the former Kerse and Dundas parishes.

A service of union took place on Sunday the 28th May 2006 at 3pm. The moderator of Falkirk presbytery Rev Melville Crosthwaite conducted the service of union, assisted by Rev Donald Scott and Rev Ian Black, presbytery clerk.

The first communion service of the new charge took place at 10-30 am on Sunday 11th June 2006, conducted by the locum minister Rev George Sherry.

The new charge has permission to call a minister without restriction, to lead us forward together towards new goals, and the building up of Christ's Church in Grangemouth. The search for a new minister is now organised and a nomination committee has begin its work.

Enquiries from suitably qualified and interested applicants, would be made most welcome via the minister's e-mail and/or via the vacancy procedure details. See Parish Profile page
